Not Giving Up

So last weekend was it. Quite possibly my last showcase. Maybe my last two routines ever.

I’m trying not to think about it. But usually, when I finish a big project in dance, I send my instructor a huge list and say “I want to do this, this, and this, and you are going to make it happen.”

Don’t feel that way right now. Maybe my priorities have indeed changed.

On to the next big adventure?

Edited: Because today is not Wednesday as much as I’d like it to be. (Is it vacation yet?)

Nothing’s over until you’re dead… so perhaps it’s better to say “last two routines ever at the age of XX.” ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey, I’m just starting to read up on your blog. And I’m fascinated by your posts! Hope the ankle is fine. Just keep fighting. You don’t have to be the greatest. You just have to maintain the joy. Best of luck.

I feel like just as I go through phases in relationships, I also go through different seasons with dance. Sometimes a little break makes you realize how much you love and miss dancing, or maybe you discover a new.and wonderful aspect of life to engage in instead. Give it time…you can’t always be “on,” about anything, you know?
