What did YOU Do today?

To celebrate, or commemorate, or whatever, I:

– Wore Blue
– Didn’t have a blood sugar over 170 mg/dl (how does that happen?!)
– On the flipside, kept dropping into the 70s this morning (that doesn’t happen often…)
– Got to participate in the #WDDchat13 a number of times, mostly on my new iPhone 5C
– Didn’t really do a whole lot of work at my job (not unusual, but it was a special day for me)
– Did the BigBlueTest again

Yay!

More Tests? But This One Is Fun #bigbluetest

I made a list of advocacy and awareness projects yesterday for Awareness month… but I forgot a BIG one that all PWDs can take part in.

It’s the Big Blue Test!

It’s super easy.

Test your blood sugar before you exercise.

Do about 14-20 minutes of activity. Run around the block. Take a walk around the mall. Dance to a couple songs on the radio in your living room. Whatever.

Test again and record the results with Big Blue. Each test recorded will send off supplies to another PWD that doesn’t have easy access to care, both nationally and internationally.

Pretty awesome. Pretty easy.

Get moving!
